Updated Chevrolet Captiva became more aggressive

In the spring of 2011, the European market will be updated crossover Chevrolet Captiva. Chevrolet engineers and designers had global change exterior of the car. Shape and body lines have become more aggressive and attractive. The range of petrol engines for the new crossover will be composed of two types of power plants. This 2.4-liter engine, and a new three-liter engine that produces power of 258 hp with a maximum torque of 288 Nm. In addition, petrol "troika" will be equipped with direct injection and variable valve timing system (VVT).

The new engine has four valves per cylinder, double overhead camshaft, pistons coated skirts and has a low noise and vibration levels. Capacity, compared to the previous generation was increased by 15%, and torque - 8%.
