Chronology Chevy Corvette: C6

Chevrolet continues the story of generations of Corvette, timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the legendary name, and now on our screens - brief review of the existing standard model, C6. This "old man" is really not so young: he went to the market in 2005, and is actively preparing to change, scheduled for 2013. As told by Corvette chief Harlan Charles, MkVI marked a partial return to the roots of design - for example, located flush open lights were present only at the first C1 1962. Their use has improved not only lighting, but also the aerodynamics, and helped to make the car lighter.

Completely new aluminum chassis and carbon fiber panels have become the basis for the most powerful and fast Chevrolet Corvette of all time - 638-horsepower ZR1. But what about the C7? Harlan says that it will be even easier, more fun and more rollicking C6. While this is difficult to imagine, we are still waiting.
